The 12-Steps of TS-12 Anon

We honor the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous as inspired. At the same time, we recognize that a trauma-sensitive version for survivors will have inherent differences. TS-12 Anon preserves the core principles, adds those specific to survivor healing, and uses language that is kind, safe, and inclusive—offering a path that meets survivors where they are.

Step 1: Recognized That Life Became Overwhelming or Unmanageable In Response To Another’s Heartbreaking or Destructive Behavior.
Step 2: Trusted In Our Higher Power’s Ability To Renew Our Inner Peace and Heal Us.
Step 3: Choosing To Rest, Trust And Act As We Are Able.
Step 4: Courageously took inventory of ourselves through a compassionate lens.
Step 5: Experienced Personal Clarity- Witnessed by Our Higher Power, a Compassionate Witness and Ourselves.
Step 6: Opened Our Hearts to Our Higher Power’s Healing and Growth.
Step 7: Humbly Asked Our Higher Power for Healing and Growth.
Step 8: Leaned Into HOPE and Set An Intention For Restoration.
Step 9: Pursued Restoration.
Step 10: Engaged In a Regular Practice of Self-Awareness and Restoration.
Step 11: Practiced Intentional Connection With Our Higher Power As We Are Able
Step 12: Having Touched the Depths of Healing, We Continue to Grow and Share Our Hope.
